These are beautiful, but some were broken when I received them, and since they are breakable and cannot be used in the microwave, they are not usable for me.

They feel cheap. One of the bowls has a chip in it, and they feel like the plates I can get for a dollar each at Wal-Mart.

Much more beautiful in person. Lightweight, dishwasher-safe! I bought 3 sets! Since I'm 4'11" and 62 petite, I don't like heavy plates. These are light and very beautiful. I love the scalloped edges, too!
