The GoBoard Point Drain Kit is designed for use with the GoBoard Shower System, which is an ultra-lightweight and durable tile backer board. The kit's low profile and adjustable riser height allow for curbless installations and adjustments based on the shower pan tile thickness. The system is fully assembled with a built-in waterproofing membrane and is designed to pair with the GoBoard Shower Pan Kit.

GoBoard Wedge

The GoBoard Point Drain Shower Pan system is used for curbed or curbless applications and is great for new shower build-outs or tub-to-shower conversions. The GoBoard Point Drain Kit includes a drain cover assembly, pre-assembled drain, mixing valve seal, pipe collar, clamping collar screws, and a 2” plastic putty knife. The kit also includes four GoBoard Wedges (4ft x 4ft) and two GoBoard Curbs (3 1/2" H x 2 1/2" W x 48" L).

The GoBoard Wedge and Curb are manufactured using the same process and raw materials as the GoBoard Tile Backer, ensuring the same level of performance. The system is lightweight and easy to install, and because waterproofing is built-in, installation time is reduced as only the board joints and fastener locations need to be sealed.

GoBoard Curb

For installation, simply cut GoBoard Curb to the required length with a utility knife and attach it to the subfloor using GoBoard Sealant or GoBoard Pro Sealant. The sealant should be applied in 1/4-inch beads to the underside of the curb and the subfloor. Press the curb into the sealant, and then spread any excess sealant onto the subfloor and the curb on the shower side.

For larger shower areas, multiple GoBoard Curbs can be placed next to each other. It is recommended to maintain a 1/8-inch gap between each section and the walls.
