Kill bosses in the Throne of Thunder raid

Killing bosses in the Throne of Thunder raid is the main way to gain reputation with the Shado-Pan Assault. This gives players access to impressive Valor reward items depending on their level of reputation.

Trash mobs will grant reputation until players reach 1 point shy of friendly status. Boss kills will always grant reputation all the way to exalted, however, they will only grant it once per week, regardless of the difficulty level. This means that players can earn reputation just as quickly in LFR as in Normal or Hard mode. If players are in a raiding guild that fails to kill all the bosses in a given week, they can find an LFR group to ensure they earn the reputation.

The Shado-Pan Assault rewards are essentially additional raid loot since the only way to earn the required reputation with them is through the Throne of Thunder raid. The items available from the Shado-pan Assault, the reputation level required, and the valor points needed to purchase them are as follows:

  • Amulets (Neck) are available at Neutral reputation for 1250 Valor Points.
  • Rings, Trinkets, and Bracers (Wrist) are available at Friendly reputation for 1250 / 1750 / 1250 Valor points respectively.
  • Gloves (Hands), Legs, and Cape (Back) are available at Honored reputation for 1750 / 2250 / 1250 Valor points respectively.
  • Chest and Waist are available at Revered reputation for 2250 and 1750 Valor points respectively.
  • Shoulders are available at Exalted for 1,000 gold.

Complete the weekly quest, Champions of the Thunder King

To complete the weekly quest, Champions of the Thunder King, you will need to collect Shan'ze Ritual Stones. These can be obtained by killing rare elite mobs around the Isle of Thunder, with a maximum of one stone obtained per week from elites. You can also get them by looting chests in the Troves of the Thunder King scenario, which are the big golden chests found at random locations on the island. Additionally, you can obtain the stones by opening Arcane Troves or Sunreaver Bounties at the end of your daily quests.

With these stones, you will perform the Lightning Ritual, the Spirit Ritual, and the Primal Ritual at various locations on the Isle of Thunder. This will summon powerful opponents for you to defeat, including masters of lightning, ancient and powerful spirits, and primal Zandalari monstrosities. You will need to gather three stones to complete Secrets in the Isle of Thunder, and then you will be given the Champions of the Thunder King quest.

On subsequent weeks, you can obtain the quest directly from the Shado-Pan hideout without repeating the introductory quests. Make sure to gather a group of five players, as this is a group quest.

Each week, you will need to defeat one boss of each type (Lightning, Primal, and Spirit) to complete the quest. These bosses can be summoned by clicking on a nearby Ritual Stone, which will consume three Shan'ze Ritual Stones. There are nine bosses in total, and their precise locations are provided in guides.

Turn in Shado-Pan Assault Insignia

The Shado-Pan Assault are the elite Shado-Pan forces sent to kill Lei Shen, the Thunder King. The Shado-Pan Assault Insignia is a key way to gain reputation with the Shado-Pan Assault. Each Insignia provides 100 reputation with the Shado-Pan Assault.

The Shado-Pan Assault Insignia can be found in a few ways. Firstly, they can be found inside the Lei Shen's Burial Troves at the end of the Troves of the Thunder King single-player loot-grabbing scenario. Secondly, they can be found inside the goody bags awarded for completing boss-killing daily quests on the Isle of Thunder, such as the Sunreaver Bounty and Arcane Trove bags. These bags are awarded for completing boss-killing daily quests on the Isle of Thunder. The Insignia can also occasionally drop from the gold chests at the end of the Treasure Trove solo scenario.

It is important to note that the drop rate for the Insignia from Sunreaver Bounty bags was reduced in 2013. In addition, the Shado-Pan Assault Insignia is not the only way to gain reputation with the Shado-Pan Assault. Completing quests, such as the once-weekly Champions of the Thunder King quest, and killing bosses in the Throne of Thunder raid are also effective methods to gain reputation.

Kill Zandalari warbreakers and warscouts, loot the rep tokens

Killing Zandalari Warbringers and Warscouts is a great way to gain reputation tokens. They are rare additions that can be found patrolling Pandaria. They have a 100% drop chance for 1 of 4 rep tokens. Each of the tokens gives 1000 to their reputation, 1200 if you have the guild perk, and 2400 if you have the guild perk and the grand commendation for the rep in question.

Zandalari Warbringers have 21.5 million health, which makes them very difficult to solo for some classes. However, each Warbringer has 1-2 Zandalari Warscouts that are patrolling the area, which can be soloed. They have a relatively quick respawn time, so you can keep killing them as they respawn. The Warscouts have a large patrol area, so you may need to fly around Pandaria to find them. They can be difficult to solo for some classes, so you may need to group up with a friend or use a Shado-Pan companion.

When you kill a Zandalari Warscout or Warbringer, they will drop a variety of loot, including Big Bag of Zandalari Supplies, Stolen Klaxxi Insignia, Stolen Golden Lotus Insignia, Stolen Celestial Insignia, and Small Bag of Zandalari Supplies. In addition to the rep tokens, you can also sell the loot for extra gold.

To efficiently build more reps and collect mounts, you can camp Zandalari Warbringers and Warscouts. You'll get other rep tokens and chances at mount drops at the same time. All you need is the addon NPCScan, and you can effectively AFK camp them. Make a class trial in a low-population server to farm the Warbringers/warehouse.

Kill Lei Shen, the Thunder King

Lei Shen, also known as the Thunder King, is an NPC in World of Warcraft. He is a powerful and fearsome opponent, described as "insanely powerful" by some. He wields the powers of storms and lightning, and is known to be a slayer of kings and gods.

To defeat Lei Shen, it is important to understand his abilities and tactics. He has a range of powerful attacks, including "Decapitate", where he throws his axe with immense force, causing severe physical damage. He also possesses the ability to summon lightning strikes and cause nature damage to his opponents. Additionally, Lei Shen can charge nearby conduits, granting him additional abilities and increasing the damage he inflicts.

One key strategy when facing Lei Shen is to disrupt his ability to charge conduits. When he is not charging a conduit, he will discharge electricity, causing continuous nature damage to all players nearby. It is crucial to keep a safe distance from him to mitigate the impact of this attack.

Another aspect to consider is Lei Shen's health threshold. When he reaches 65% health, he will cast "Supercharge Conduits", becoming invulnerable and activating all four conduits simultaneously. This will significantly increase the challenge, as the empowered conduits will enhance the damage they inflict.

Additionally, Lei Shen is known to employ allies and slaves in his battles, including the Mogu tribes and the Zandalari trolls. He also commands powerful creatures like Megaera, a fearsome hydra, and Durumu, an aberration capable of peering into the hearts of followers.

To successfully defeat Lei Shen, it is essential to have a well-coordinated strategy, a diverse range of tactics, and a deep understanding of his abilities and weaknesses. Only then can players hope to triumph over this formidable opponent.
