Complete the Kun-Lai Summit storyline

To complete the Kun-Lai Summit storyline, you must first complete the Valley of the Four Winds and Krasarang Wilds storylines. Messenger Grummles will show up at Stoneplow, Halfhill, and the Grassy Cline with a message from Lorewalker Cho, which starts the breadcrumb quest, [20-35] The Road to Kun-Lai.

Complete the Townlong Steppes storyline

To complete the Townlong Steppes storyline, you must first complete the Kun-Lai Summit storyline and the Shado-Pan Monastery during the Mists of Pandaria campaign. You can then enter Townlong via the Ox Gate southwest of Winter's Blossom. The progression of the storyline is tracked in the achievement "One Steppe Forward, Two Steppes Back".

The first quests in the Townlong Steppes storyline are "The Mistlurkers in the Sumprushes" and "Tai Ho's Investigation". Just on the other side of the wall are Fire Camp Osul and the Longying Outpost, the latter of which was recently taken by the Shado-Pan as a base. Here, you will find Suna Silentstrike, Ban Bearheart, Taoshi, and Taran Zhu, cleansed of his sha corruption, having a war conference around a bonfire.

There are several optional quests at this stage, including "My Husband...", "Beyond the Wall", "The Shado-Pan Offensive", "Hero's Call: Townlong Steppes!" and "Warchief's Command: Townlong Steppes!". To complete the Shado-Pan Garrison one-offs and dailies, players will need to reach level 90 and unlock the portal to the Isle of Thunder. This can be done by accepting the Thunder Calls quest from Lyalia (for Alliance) or Sunwalker Dezco (for Horde) at your faction's shrine.

After receiving the quest, head to your faction camp outside the Shado-Pan Garrison in the central region of Townlong Steppes. The Alliance camp is located near the shore north of the garrison, while the Horde camp is to the south.

Once you've arrived at your faction camp, you'll need to find the quest giver for The Storm Gathers, your next quest. For Horde, the coordinates are 50.7, 73.4, and for Alliance, the coordinates are 49.7, 68.7.
