Power: Use the camera's power cord and adapter
To power your Blink Pan-Tilt camera, you will need to use the power cord and adapter that came with your camera. The Blink Pan-Tilt Mount does not come with a new USB cable and power adapter. The power cord from your camera connects to the base of the mount, and power is supplied through a short USB cable from the mount, which you insert into the Mini power port.
If you purchased your Pan-Tilt Mount as a standalone accessory, you need to use the power cord and adapter that originally shipped with your Mini camera. Power cords and adapters are included in your box when you purchase your Pan-Tilt Mount and Mini camera together.
The Blink Pan-Tilt Mount is designed to be powered by the power cord from your Mini camera. It is important to use only the supplied USB cable and power adapter that are included with your Mini camera or Pan-Tilt mount camera bundle. Third-party USB cables or power adapters may affect the motor's functionality if they do not supply the correct amount of power.
The Blink Mini camera can plug into USB or 120V and needs a WiFi network to operate.

Mounting: Attach to a wall or ceiling using a third-party accessory
The Blink Pan-Tilt Mount has a built-in 1/4-inch threaded screw hole in its base, which can be used to attach the camera to a third-party mounting accessory for installation on a wall or ceiling. This is not included with the mount, so you will need to purchase it separately.
When using a third-party mounting accessory, refer to the manufacturer's instructions for assembling the mount and attaching the device. Ensure that the mount has enough room to perform its full range of motion.
The Pan-Tilt Mount is designed to be used indoors and is compatible with the Blink Mini Gen 1 camera, but not the Mini 2. It does not require batteries, instead, it uses the power cord from the Mini camera, which connects to the base. The mount will then be supplied power through a short USB cable from the Pan-Tilt mount, which you insert into the Mini power port.
Once the mount and camera are powered, the app will notify you that the indoor Mini camera has been updated to include the Pan-Tilt Mount. The mount will automatically calibrate by moving and rotating the stem to ensure everything works correctly and has enough space.

Calibration is necessary for your Blink Mini Pan-Tilt Mount to maintain the accuracy of movements and optimal device performance. The mount will automatically calibrate after setup, but you can also calibrate it manually.

- Tap the More button in the lower right corner of your Mini Pan-Tilt Camera's thumbnail image on the home screen.
- Select Device Settings and then Pan-Tilt Settings.
- On the Pan-Tilt Settings screen, tap Calibrate Pan-Tilt Mount.
- Tap Calibrate at the bottom of the screen.
- When calibration is successful, you will see a "Calibration complete" message at the bottom of the Pan-Tilt Settings screen.
Additionally, if your Pan-Tilt Mount loses power, it will automatically recalibrate when power is restored.
It is important to note that the default home position is a 180-degree pan position from the USB port and a 90-degree tilt position from the base. You can manually set or update this default view in the Live View.
To ensure the proper functioning of your Blink Mini Pan-Tilt Camera, make sure to place it in a location with sufficient clearance to move in all directions.
