Lyra travels to the Land of the Dead
In the third season of His Dark Materials, Lyra travels to the Land of the Dead with Will. In order to reach the Land of the Dead, Lyra must first separate from her daemon, Pantalaimon (Pan). This separation is extremely painful for both of them and causes Pan to feel betrayed by Lyra.
