The Shado-Pan are a secretive, elite order of highly disciplined pandaren fighters with a ninja-like culture dedicated to protecting their empire from any threat. To get a Shado-Pan mount, you must first increase your reputation with the Shado-Pan by doing daily quests at the Shado-Pan Garrison in the Townlong Steppes. Once you have reached exalted reputation, you can buy the Shado-Pan Tabard, and after that, you will be given a few quests which will eventually reward you with the Reins of the Onyx Cloud Serpent.

Locations and Quests:

The Shado-Pan Garrison daily quests take place in three questing locations within the Townlong Steppes:

• Omnia Mystics (Shan'ze Dao): These quests are given by Ban Bearheart and involve preventing the Mogu from experimenting with Cloud Serpents. There are three possible mini-quest lines, each consisting of four initial quests and a final quest to kill an elite enemy.
• Blackguard Defenders (Deadtalker's Plateau and Fire Camp Gai Cho): These quests are given by Master Snowdrift and involve dealing with the Yaungol. There are five quests in total, including assaulting Deadtalker's Plateau and Fire Camp Gai-Cho, and a final quest to kill an elite enemy.
• Wu Kao Assassins (Sra'vess): These quests are given by Ling of the Six Pools and involve wreaking havoc on the Mantid base at Sra'vess. There are generally three quests, including two rotating quests like "Destroy the Siege Weapons!" and a final quest to kill an elite enemy.

Choosing an NPC Companion:

Each day, players can choose a Shado-Pan NPC companion to aid them in their quests. These companions have different abilities and are tied to specific sets of daily quests. The available NPCs include:

Reputation Rewards:

By reaching exalted reputation with the Shado-Pan, players will unlock a mini-quest line that concludes their adventures with the faction. Additionally, players can purchase various rewards, including mounts and vanity items, from Rushi the Fox, the Shado-Pan Quartermaster, located at the Shado-Pan Garrison.

Reputation requirements

To get the Shado-Pan mount, you need to reach exalted status with the Shado-Pan faction. Here are the reputation requirements to get the mount:

Once you reach level 90, you can start increasing your reputation with the Shado-Pan by completing daily quests at the Shado-Pan Garrison in the Townlong Steppes. You will be attacking nearby Yaungol, Mantid, and Mogu outposts. There are three questing locations, and you will always do four warm-up quests before a final quest where you will need to kill an elite mob.

Each day, you will be able to choose an NPC from the Shado-Pan to accompany you on your quests. They will help you fight your foes. Occasionally, you will be offered a challenge quest where you will need to defeat a Shado-Pan champion. If you succeed, you will unlock the help of that NPC for your daily quests.

You will earn 250 reputation from each daily quest, and if you get a challenge quest, you will earn an additional 350 reputation. You can also earn 400 reputation per day by doing the Shado Pan Work Order at your farm.

By simply completing all the Shado-Pan quests in Townlong Steppes, you can easily reach (almost) Honored reputation. To increase your reputation gains further, you can choose to champion the Shado-Pan in the reputation tab of your character panel, which will give you additional reputation when running Heroic dungeons and scenarios.

Once you reach exalted reputation, you will be given a few quests that will eventually reward you with the Reins of the Onyx Cloud Serpent mount.

Not all of the NPCs will be available on a given day. It has been reported that each NPC is tied to a particular set of daily quests. Additionally, only three NPCs are available initially, and the others are unlocked at later stages by completing quests that will be given at the Garrison.

Omnia Mystics Quests

The Omnia Mystics are one of the three questing locations for the Shado-Pan dailies. The Omnia Mystics daily quests are given to you by Ban Bearheart at the Shado-Pan Garrison. They will send you to the northern island of Shan'ze Dao, where you will have to prevent the Mogu from experimenting with Cloud Serpents.

Depending on the day, you will get one of these three mini quest lines:

First four quests: The Mogu Menace, Egg Rescue!, Little Hatchlings, Spiteful Sprites;

Final quest: In Sprite Of Everything (automatically given).

First four quests: The Mogu Menace, Born Free, Dark Arts, Onyx Hearts;

Final quest: Riding the Storm (automatically given).

First four quests: The Mogu Menace, Bronze Claws, Illusions Of The Past, Grave Consequences;

Final quest: When The Dead Speak (automatically given).

None of these quests are complicated enough to warrant a detailed explanation. Simply keep in mind that for In Sprite Of Everything, the NPC you have to kill is located in a cave, the entrance of which is just south of the quest objective on your map.

The first time you reach Shan'ze Dao, you will be able to take the Through the Portal quest from Moshu the Arcane. He is located inside the cave in the southern part of the island, where the Shado-Pan has established a small outpost. Completing this quest requires you to gather 1,000 Ancient Arcane Powder, which mostly drops from Darkwoods Charmers (small creatures that you find in the south-western part of the island). You will be rewarded with a portal that you can take to freely transport your character from the Shado-Pan Garrison to Shan'ze Dao and vice versa.
